For over 80 years, The Pacific Bridge Companies (TPBC) and its predecessors set traditions of innovation and leadership in serving the financial needs of the Asian Communities in the United States. In the 1930’s, its founding fathers worked to abolish discriminatory underwriting practices that excluded Asians from certain kinds of life insurance policies and, for those offered, its best pricing. By the 1950’s, they amassed the largest market share of the insurance and investment agencies in the state of Hawaii. From 1955 through 2007, TPBC carried the unique authority to deliver life insurance coverage from the United States to foreigners living in Japan. And by the early 2000’s, TPBC secured the largest life insurance coverage for the benefit of Asian Pacific Islanders. Today, TPBC is expanding its offerings across all lines of financial services for the Asian Pacific community in the United States by identifying, connecting, and collaborating with those operating and advising at the highest levels in banking, insurance, investment, tax and the law.
